This is a common example, not an eligibility limit. We also assess metal-related loads from individuals, companies and other industries.
Prepare before drop-off
- Store materials by grade
- Remove oil, water and soil where practical
- Discuss recurring transactions and bank transfer terms in advance
Metal scrap purchasing for factories and machining shops
We assess metal offcuts and scrap from machining, sheet-metal and electrical work material by material. Small loads are welcome.
- Iron scrap and machining swarf
- Carbide tooling (inserts, end mills)
- Copper, brass and gunmetal offcuts
- Copper-alloy offcuts such as phosphor bronze (ask first)
- Mixed wire and cabtyre cable
- Aluminium offcuts
- Stainless steel

Items without a published price are quoted individually after physical inspection. Mixing changes the unit price, so please separate materials where practical.
Duralumin and other aluminium-alloy offcuts and aluminium castings are also assessed as alloy.
